Lauderdale by the Sea is great for all ages, kids can enjoy the pool or ocean. beach chairs & towels seem to be available at a lot of motels, this is a great convenience to visitors. Umbertos has great pizza, we didn't eat out all the time, as it was great to pick up a few groceries at Publix or Walmart and have sandwiches/hot chicken for meals throughout our stay. Minimally a bar fridge and microwave, and coffee maker are a great asset in a room when you're there for a 7 to 10+ day stay.

It was okay.
It was okay. I think the transportation service could have been better. We were dropped off at arrivals instead of departure to travel to Chicago which made it a little inconvenient for a traveler with disability.

We loved Lauderdale-by-the-Sea , because it has the best of both . the beach and the inland waterways, with their fantastic yachts and property. The water taxi is a must - the crew are very knowledgeable . Plenty of restaurants - parks - malls - waterways.

As my pictures show, this accommodation I booked in Fort Lauderdale was horrible. The name of this accommodation is "Airport - Book Now! Under New Management." It is currently under investigation by Booking.com, following not only my complaint but also following several other complaints that have been placed against this place as well. It was filthy, had a rusty and dirty locker, and the whole room smelled. The linens and the sheets of the bed were filthy, and the whole bed shook when I moved in my bed and also when the guest occupying the bottom bed moved. which made me very concerned for my safety. Also there wasn't even a ladder to get to the top bunk bed, and I almost fell getting to my bed. If that would have happened I would have sued. THIS ACCOMMODATION IN FORT LAUDERDALE WAS ALSO IN A BAD AND RUNDOWN NEIGHBORHOOD, AND GIVES THE CITY A VERY BAD IMAGE!!! The pictures advertized are nothing like the reality found at the property. Also the manager on the phone was extremely rude, He was acting as though he was the customer when in fact he should have apologized for running such a deplorable accommodation. He was condescending and hung up on me after making excuses by saying that given that this place caters to young travellers that that somehow makes it ok. Unbelievable! This manager offered the rudest customer service I ever had to deal with in my whole life. I highly recommend NOT TO BOOK THIS ACCOMMODATION. Luckily Booking.com issued me a refund, when the manager wouldn't. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER BOOKED IN MY WHOLE LIFE.

The Front Desk attendant was very nice, informative and was able to upgrade us to pool view. The hotel is housed in 3 buildings, 2 on the beach and one across a small street. Rooms were comfortable, clean and large, The hotel has 2 restaurants, a bar and a coffee/ snack shop. The hotel is located 4 blocks from the downtown area with lots of restaurants, bars and shops. Parking is on-site for a fee, but it was great to go out and not take the car.
The hotel is beautifully located, right on the beach in an area where turtles nest, between a state park and a historical mansion so the area inland of the beach is much more pristine than in other sections of the coastline. The hotel itself is modern, quiet, and clean, the pool was small but well maintained, the staff was very efficient, pleasant, and helpful, and there’s free yoga on the beach Saturday and Sunday morning!
great low key well kept small hotel across the street from the beach. managers are very pleasant. second visit to this hotel. stayed in a one bedroom unit. unit was spacious with a full kitchen (except a dishwasher). located near publix/cvs, short drive to downtown fort lauderdale. wifi seemed strong enough for my needs. would stay again when in the area.
The price was very reasonable compared to other hotels in the beach area. Very good breakfast and nice helpful staff. Because of covid, there were no restaurants close to the hotel open after 10pm. But there were good options for delivery service, very good and not expensive. Easy walk to the beach, the hotel has beach chairs for use on the beach.
The hotel location is perfect for access to the amazing beach (which is across the street), it's a 20 minute drive from fort Lauderdale airport and 12 minutes drive to Port Canaveral (Florida) cruise port. This is a great budget priced hotel to get your head down for one night. Staying any longer is questionable...
This is our second stay at the B resort in Fort Lauderdale, and we also stayed at the hotel in Orlando/. Each time we are greeted with friendly staff and an immaculate property. The pool area was wonderful and the pool bar staff attentive. This location can't be beat! Right on the water and a great value!
Very good service from the hotel manager. The hotel is being renovated so consider it to be up & coming, but the older room I was in was certainly comfy and clean, and it stayed cool in the Florida summer. The pool area is very nice, the grounds are well kept, and it's very close to the beach
The Hotel location was excellent. Public transportation was one block away. Shopping and restaurants were all within a short walk. A short ride on the bus would get you to Fort Lauderdale beach. The hotel provided a shuttle service to Fort Lauderdale Airport.
The location is probably a 10 minute ride from the airport. The location on the beach is beautiful. It has its own private bridge from the resort to the beach. The room we had was facing the boat docks, it was a beautiful view and very quiet on property.
Lauderdale by the Sea area. More residential than hotels. Across the street are additional buildings on the Beach. Good restaurant across the ate with outdoor dining. Delicious Mahi dinner! Room was renovate recently.
The staff were really nice especially at check-in. All around good people. The hotel was clean, love, the coffee bar and the restaurant. We ordered quite a bit on the beach and that was a great convenience.
Great location with a balcony overlooking the ocean. Had easy car parking availability and a functional kitchen. Hotel has sun lounges and umbrellas on the beach for guests as well.
Loved staying in Old Fort Lauderdale style Hotel! With all the updates for todays leisure lifestyle!
Very comfortable bed!
Great pool!
Easy walk to the beach!
Near everything!
Location is in my preferred area of Fort Lauderdale, close to beach and Galleria mall. It's a retro property but very well maintained. It even has a swimming pool and hot tub.
Nice location. Clean room. Nice size room. 10th floor room provided a nice view of downtown Fort Lauderdale. Hotel location is fairly close to the airport. Good free parking
This hotel is a nice hotel and it's conveniently located to the cruise port and the airport. It's not the first time we stayed here. Gustavo's friendly and very helpful
Good breakfast…multiple options.
Great location to the Cruise Port with free shuttle from Fort Lauderdale airport to hotel.
Many restaurants in walking distance.
I love this hotel I will never book another hotel on fort Lauderdale beach this hotel is by far my favorite clean no bugs great friendly staff it was amazing 🤍
Fantastic location right on the beach, staff were amazing and always helpful when required. Pool area was clean and use of paddle boards and Kayak was great.
Better than most of Floridas 4 Star Hotels, everything was amazing and the staff was real friendly and helpfull all the time. Even Beach chairs were free.
